Overview
Sales associates need an application that is dedicated to employee dashboard application and smooth communication experience on the iPad.
My Role
UX/UI Designer and Researcher designing an iPad Pro internal application prototype for sales associates’ data visualization in 2019.
Up until July 2018, Walmart changed its design system, so after that, I followed the new guideline.
THE CHALLENGE
Sales Associates Needed to Boost Revenue

Complex Navigation:
Users struggled to find key insights and tasks quickly. -
Overloaded Interface:
There was too much data presented without prioritization, which caused cognitive overload. -
Inefficient Workflow:
The design didn’t align with user workflows, creating bottlenecks in their day-to-day operations.

Key Findings
Focused Data Insights
Sales associates frequently access critical store data. I redesigned the dashboard to highlight the most relevant metrics and visualizations, ensuring quick and efficient decision-making.
Offline Accessibility
The application operates seamlessly without an internet connection, allowing users to access information consistently and reliably, no matter their location.

Redesigning the Dashboard for Key Insights
Stakeholder and user interviews revealed that critical sales data was difficult to access. I redesigned the dashboard to address 3 key challenges:

Sales Data Was Buried
A redesigned sales analysis report now highlights sales trends clearly, helping managers identify whether sales are increasing or declining. -
Team Communication Was Inefficient
Improved scheduling and communication tools enable team members to coordinate seamlessly. -
Store Managers Lacked Visibility on Associate Performance
Enhanced performance tracking provides store managers with clear insights into associate achievements.

​Leveraging sales data to boost revenue, this analysis report identifies trends across Walmart stores, helping managers make informed decisions.

The report enables managers to monitor sales performance, detect growth or decline, and plan strategic actions during the fiscal year. Consent for processing personal data is ensured.
​
Using a structured approach, I designed intuitive interfaces with features like visual star icons for team performance and feedback integration. Reports seamlessly connect with Microsoft and Google Suites for easy sharing and collaboration.

Dashboard for Team Collaboration
The calendar is automatically connected to the revenue report, up-coming events, meeting, board meetings, customer feedback, and more. This helps the user make their CFF scores better.
